• Merge certainly as written the article needs more sourcing to make a call, and if that's its final state the nominator is correct. I think what we should do here is more of an editing-preference, which would be to combine several articles in question into a more concise and easily sourced article. Suggestions include 2017 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference football season (which already exists) or Slippery Rock football or Slippery Rock athletics. There's call for inclusion of the material, but I think that we need to make an editing decision here and not a deletion issue. This goes for Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2017 Shippensburg Raiders football team as well.--Paul McDonald (talk) 13:50, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
